Noticed at least some of these studs go straight thru head into rocker area. Have all new ones from HHH to install and wondered what is best sealant/thread locker to use on the threads going into head? Have a variety of sealers and locking compounds on hand, but not sure which to use. I am using the stock exhaust manifolds.

Thanks, Mike

The others go into water, @ least on the Chr. Tube of copper coat, best I recall.

I used the gray silicone gasket maker. It has worked very well with no leaks. But I didn't seal the old studs thinking that they were already good. Wrong. I now have a leak on one of them that I never touched. I'm sure it will seal itself again eventually since it is very minor.
