Wow. That actually brought a tear to my eyes. 2 of my 3 children appreciate my '57s and even used them in their weddings. The 3rd one didn't want anything do do with them. Great to see a young person so in love with her car, and it's a beauty!

I also found this quite encouraging, if not for the fact that it confirms that I am not the only 20 something, young blood who loves these finned beauties... also in Ohio no less. My father also gave me a love for the old Mopars and I also got my Dodge from an Ohio barn find (the way I got to buy it was some considerably different circumstances however. ) She also has an appropriate love for the best, matching era of music I may add. Beautiful car and great story! The 1957 and 58 DeSotos are my favorite years for DeSoto and I especially like the 4 dr hardtop. That’s one of my must have Forward Look vehicles. Sadly they seldom surface in decent shape.
