That was cool! The 2nd La Femme is owned by Tom Zinke's wife, I bought a car from him years ago (a '61 Plymouth no less). They are both big Forward Lookers--good folks!

I did take ol' MD2 over the Royal Gorge the Saturday morning before Sunday's shindig in Florence. I found it a bit of a surprise that Dennis Gage was more interested in Big Red, my '65 Sport Fury, than in the C. We talked quite a bit about it and his camera was shooting all the time, but the video seems to have landed on the proverbial cutting room floor.
You might find it of interest that a cousin of mine flew under the bridge during WWII. Nothing really spectacular since it was only a twin-engined AT-11, but it was good enough to get him transferred from an instructor's slot at a training base to a P-61 Black Widow night fighter squadron.
