The rubber covering on the Power Brake-equipped cars says "POWER BRAKE".

Do you mean just the rubber pad on the pedal or the entire pedal arm? Lots of difference between the pedal arm for power and manual; mostly the pedal ratio. |

I meant the pedal arm for auto trans. Is there a difference between power on non power?, Thanks Kenny |

If you are converting to P/Bs, then you need the pedal assembly from a power brake car. Also, the vacuum port for the intake manifold. Ron |

This is what i am thinking of doing , my basket case did come with what appears to be complet power brake set up not really sure i want to use it though. Thank you |

Location: Newark, Texas (Fort Worth) | Which engine are you going to use? if it is wide; a kick up master might be needed like for a dart/cuda with a hemi or something like that. 318 LA should be O.K. 318 Poly is another matter. |

it currently has a low milage '66 440 in it , but i'm not sure that is going to stay either. |

I disagree. Doing this is anything but clean, and not really simpler either, depending on the motor. |

Location: NorCal | Well, I guess "clean" is in the eye of the beholder. The factory bellows booster sitting over the MC cover with the associated huge vacuum tank/hoses is butt ugly IMHO. |

Location: So. Cal | If you could fit a large diameter booster snug up against the firewall with the master mounted to it down at the proper height, then I would think it was clean. But having a small, long dual stage booster with the master pointed up at a 10 to 20 degree angle or on a raised pedestal mount is far uglier than having a tank on your fender. And the bellows has a unique awesome quality to it that can't be compared to others, but obviously, opinions differ. |
