Looking for maintenance references. Searched here and did not find much. I have 58 imperial and the dash knob is stuck at 3. Center button depresses fine, but you can't change the position on the dial. Throttle linkages all seem to be fine.

There's a rack n pinion that moves the cable in/out, most probably the grease is hardened and needs to be cleaned up.
A kinked Cable could also be the case.

Thanks. I'll investigate further. Had a request for pictures of the 58 Imperial parking brake release. The autopilot cars had a unique set up I've been told.

There is a allen wrench set screw in the knob just like all the others. There is a straight slot set screw in the red plastic ring.
