Location: Melbourne Australia | Here is an early Chrysler 383 V8 short motor, this has the 8 bolt extended flange crank to suit push button cast iron transmission. If you know anything about these i don't have to tell you how hard these are to come by!
Was rebuilt some time ago and looks like never ran, bored out to .030 then stored uncovered so had some rust in the bores, Cleaned up well except for number 1 cylinder that machine shop says may need to go to .040 or sleeve? So up to buyer weather they want to re assemble and run as is or bore / sleeve the block. Crank and rods machined -.010, bearings and pistons look new. A couple of rings are broken also. Comes with camshaft and whatever you see in the pics. Located in Reservoir Melbourne Aus. 3073.
