Location: NY & VT | Unless the underside is really rotted out why in the world would any FL lover part this car out??
Last year I sent an identical '59 4 dr Firedome, same color and everything, to Sweden for restoration that was not as nice as this one.
I'm glad that Swedes do appreciate even 4 dr cars and save them. |

Location: NY & VT | If the frame was bad along with rotted out floors then yes perhaps it deserved to be parted. However individual taste varies, not everyone HAS to have a coupe, wagon or convert, and I've had all of those too. Regardless of body style, one would hope that any decent solid FL car would be at least offered to the community first to prevent destruction, they're getting way too rare to part out only to maximize profit unless a real a rot box. The only point is please everyone realize that not only the Swedes like 4 drs, so please offer them for sale intact to those that like them, ALL FLs are loveable and worth resurrecting. |
