I need a couple rocker panel trim clips for my 1955 New Yorker. I have not been able to find a picture of the clip to see if it is threaded with a nut or if it simply presses through the hole in the rocker. There does not appear to be anyway to get to the back side of the rocker to put a nut on the clip. My shop manual have a body and trim section but does not have any info about the rocker panel trim. Does anyone know of a source for this clip?? Thanks for any help.

Forgive me for not getting back to you sooner!! I have been distracted by other things and have not had a chance to check back on the site. Thank you SO much for the information and the offer to take pictures of your clips. I actually have been able to get a look at what is left of my rocker trim clips. Before checking back here I have searched for a clip that looks like mine and would be the right size and length with no luck. I can find clips but none for a 1955 New Yorker. I have even ordered a parts manual for my car that should be arriving any day. it should have the exploded diagrams so I can tell if the clip is the pop in kind are held with a bolt and nut. There are 2 holes (one above the other) in the rocker for each clip. I don't want to try to remove any of the good clips out for fear of breaking them. Anyway...I really appreciate your help and will post an update when I have news.
