| most of the decent driver quality cars are in the north west and Canada. I dont mind traveling 1000 miles each way for a car but Washington is a stretch. south or east coast would be nice, I'll keep waiting and looking, 57-59 custom/coronet 2dr |

Location: New York | Depending on how far to transport, but Yes, delivery is really cheaper than repairs. You can read about it here https://movewheels.com/car-transport-cross-country/. Very often during repairs you have to spend extra money, but if you find a car that the owner kept in good quality, it will be much more profitable. |

Example quote below. Their website is not very good in the sense that it had no listings for actual 1956 Dodge models, so I had to fake it. I had a car shipped from New York City via rail to Seattle in Dec. 2006 for about US$1100 so things haven't gone up to bad unless you go for the deluxe package.
I chose Miami to Blaine WA as just about the longest distance cross-country possible in the US.
