| Looking for one or two trim clips that help hold the wide stainless trim in place on the front windscreen of a 1956 Dodge. I have looked at a number of vendors, can't seem to find anything close. Not sure if they are used on Plymouth? A small item only, hoping someone can help? If not I will have to try and make one, but I would prefer the genuine article...it would be a lot better than anything I can make. Thanks , Steve

Steve: If you can find the part number in the 55-58 Mopar Parts catalog, I can ask my local NOS parts guy if he has any.
Barring that, they don't look very difficult to make, even out of say 16 gauge Stainless Steel.

| My best guess from my parts manual is that the part is # 1646929 "Clip - hold down", "D62, D63 ", 2 required found in Parts Group 23R Windshield Outside Finish Mouldings

I can find that PN in the 1956 Chryco parts hardcopy catalog but it does NOT show up in the 55-58 Mopar parts pdf and it does NOT show up at either Len Dawson's or Grease Monkey (formerly Collectors).
So I think you might be out of luck for a new one. Try John F. at Big M.
Sorry, Steve.

Location: Finland | I found a couple of 56 dodge clips but they look small to me...it is a mm measure.
If they are the right ones it will be 5 usd including shipping....you will probably get them in the spring...
