Could you post a picture of that embossed emblem for the '59 Sport Fury? I would like to see it. Another option is to purchase a forwardlook emblem from a '56 DeSoto dash that the '57-'58 Fury used above the back seat. It might look better than what originally came on a '59.

Thank you all for the response.
{Sorry. I didn't know about the embossed FURY. In that case, you might want to try SMS Auto Fabrics. They might have the necessary embossing equipment.}
I will reach out to SMS Auto Fabrics.
I will get a picture of the Embossing and post it as soon I get a chance.
{im about to make mine.. these cars just had some sheeting and a vinyl cover, no actual board. Im cutting a board for mine now.}
Please let me know how it turns out.

I need to make one for my '59 Fireflite at some point as well (after I seal up the leaking rear window...). I have the embossed part from SMS that goes against the top of the rear seat. Does anyone have a good photo of an original '59 DeSoto/Chrysler rear deck cover and a good source for the materials? I know in '56 the cover was a painted pressed board, but my '59 has nothing there at all to use as a reference.

They used a vinyl covering over cardboard. The color of the vinyl on the '57-'58 Chryslers is the same as the color of the dash & upper door color. My '58 DeSotos (Firedome & Fireflite) use the same color as the middle of the door, which is gray on the two cars that still have the original material there. I'm not sure if this translates to '59 DeSoto or not. You can probably get a good idea if you study the brochures.

Thanks for the input on the material. I can confirm the color is the same as the dash pad as I have older photos of my car before it sat and cooked on a driveway for 30 years. Mine is gray to match the (also non-existent) dash pad.
