| man if your that close, why not go back to original? spray painting some cheap cragars and putting the hood scoop on.... eh... It looks like a great restore, its up to 16k.. alot of work there.

Location: Finland | A interesting build except for ..the scoop and those wheels.
What m...n puts 155-80-15 up front? Load index must be pretty close to dangerous. |

Hate it. Remove the ridiculous hood scoop and put some decent painted steel or non-black mags and it would be way more interesting, considering the engine.
" 225ci OHV straight-six was installed in lieu of the original V8, and was reportedly fitted with a Clifford camshaft with .447” of lift and 268° of duration. The engine breathes through a pair of Weber 38 DGAS carburetors on a Clifford intake manifold as well as a set of Clifford headers feeding a single exhaust pipe with a Cherry Bomb glasspack muffler"
That said, this would be even more interesting:

Location: Branson, MO | I concur - lose the hood scoop and get some chrome or silver wheels. In addition, I would have painted it a different color too - probably all black with no tu-tone. Keep it kind of "sinister' looking. |

Location: Alaska | That engine belongs in an A body where it would be fun, not in a 4000 lb station wagon. I agree, lose the hood scoop. |

| Hood scoop is almost funny with a slant 6. Come on, who you trying to fool. Cheap front seat job and tiny tires. I have seen better deals on wagons than this one. |

Location: Lubbock, TX | Sold for $28k. The new owner likely will have some things to tweak and hopefully will be happy with the end result. Better than rotting in a junk yard!

Location: Finland | I don`t agree..the interior is superbly done...just not original. Also the detailing of the entire car is top notch in my eyes...but the taste of the restorer is not
main stream.. |
