Location: Northen Virginia | oh my, sorry guys I completely left all the info behind. This is a 1961 New Yorker convertible in Argentina. I was amazing how low the production was for this body style. This particular car was exported for the Argentinean Auto show of 1961.

Someone will correct me if I am wrong: I think that the only choices would have been white or black (or maybe tan for a 300G). If there is a tondeau cover, it will be the same colour as what the top was.
I don't think that the cowl data plate tells us anything. Igor? Robert? Ian?

Location: Southern Sweden - Sturkö island | Nice car Denis, the Q1 stands for code 331 which was a black ragtop 1960, most probably also 1961.
For the verts 1960 there was the following colors;
331 black
332 white
333 green
334 blue
335 terra cotta

Location: Northen Virginia | excellent guys, yes it is a nice car Sven I'm stunning of the amount of Chrysler they are in Argentina, thanks to Facebook the amount is growing exponentially.
What it brings another question I had for more than 2 decades, but i will make a new post for not messing this up. |

1960 Chrysler Q-space on the driver’s column data plate:
331 = Convertible Top Color – Black
332 = Convertible Top Color – White
333 = Convertible Top Color – Blue
335 = Convertible Top Color – Terra Cotta
339 = Rear Window Defogger
1961 Chrysler Q-space on the driver’s column data plate:
331 = Convertible Top Color – Black
332 = Convertible Top Color – White
339 = Rear Window Defogger
No Blue, Terra Cotta convertible top colors in the ’61 Chrysler instead “60…
And the power windows as standard on the 1960 Chrysler New Yorkers as well… (BTW)
1962 Chrysler has not decoded in the Q-space of the convertible top color on the driver’s door jamb:
It was moved to the (PNT) Paint Code Colors space:
PNT1 = Paint – Single Tone
PNT2 = Paint – Two Tone (Newport and New Yorker Roofs – on the customer request)
PNT6 = Convertible Top Color – Black
PNT7 = Convertible Top Color – White
This car has next codes on the plate:
B4 = 294 = Power Windows
C8 = 298 = Power Door Locks
D1 = 391 = Accessory Package A = Rear License Plate Frame 361, Door Edge Protectors 376, Vanity Mirror 381
N5 = 385 = Heater only (no A/C)
Q1 = 331 = Black Convertible Top Color
T3 = 423 = Radio Golden Touch Tuner (seven push buttons)
V1 = 441 = Solex Tinted Glass at all window areas
Y8 = 588 = Undercoating and Hood Insulating Pad
SO 0926 = September 26, 1960
BDY 835 = New Yorker Convertible
TRM 827 = White Vinyl (no leather trim on the all series except 300G)
PNT PP1 = Mardi Gras Red – paint scheme – monotone
Probably this car has power seats – but this option has not stamped on the tag – I checked it twice or more…)

Location: Southern Sweden - Sturkö island | So D1 301 which for 1960 was Basic Group Windsor only; Heater - Custom Conditionaire, Windshield Washer, Light Package, Mirror Tilt Type, Safety Cushion Dash Panel became in 61' D1 = 391 = Accessory Package A = Rear License Plate Frame 361, Door Edge Protectors 376, Vanity Mirror 381?
C4 294 for 1960 is confirmed Power Windows on Windsor and Saratoga = $108, did that became B4 1961?
C8 298 for 1960 is confirmed Vacuum Door-Locking System 2-door = $36.60, 4-door = $56, hence the same
Thanful for your help |

Hello Svan (aka wizard)
To the 1960 Chryslers are:
C4 = 294 = Power Windows – standard on NY, optional on “Windsor” and “Sara” but not for $108.00 than $107.60
C8 = 298 = Power Door Locks – VACUUM (2door Chryslers, N/A less 294 – Power Windows) = $36.60
C8 = 298 = Power Door Locks – VACUUM (4door Chryslers, N/A less 294 – Power Windows) = $56.00
C8 = 298 = Power Door Locks – ELECTRICAL (Imperial only, N/A less 294) – No info for pricing this item…
D1 = 301 = Basic Group that included:
315 = Heater for $101.90
371 = Light Package for $26.60
386 = Inside Tilt Type Mirror for $3.85 (don’t confused with the 387 is a Mirror-O-Matic was for $17.70 to NY and 300F and $21.60 for Windsor and Sara)
431 = Padded Instrument Panel for $21.35
511 = Windshield Washer for $13.55
To the 1961 Chryslers are:
Yes – you are right about B4 = 294 = Power Windows – optional for all series for the same price
I have not example of pictures of the data plates that were denied it…
D1 = 301 (not a 391 – sorry my typo) = Chrysler’s Accessory Package A for $12.50
361 = Rear License Plate Frame
376 = Door Edge Protectors
381 = Vanity Mirror
