Pertronix says they don't have an Electronic Conversion System for DeSoto 330 HEMIs with the 1BJ distributor, I've been told a 91385LS will work from other sources. Any validation or experience is appreciated.

This not your answer, it is just data that might help you to figure things out.

An IBK distributor is a dual point 12V distributor

I think that an IBP distributor is a single point distributor

I think that a IBJ distributor is a single point distributor but I do NOT know what the difference is between a IBP and a IBJ. If it is just shaft length, then what works on an IBP will likely work on a IBJ.

Pertronix said they had no kit for my '57 Dodge hemi single point distributor. I took it to Philbin Manufacturing in Portland OR (503-287-1718) and they modified an available kit to fit. That was in 2014 and it is still working great, as far as I know. You might try them.
