beachman51 Posted 2021-03-24 5:44 PM (#610326) Subject: 56 DeSoto Auto-lite distrbutor Pertronix New User Posts: 1 Pertronix says they don't have an Electronic Conversion System for DeSoto 330 HEMIs with the 1BJ distributor, I've been told a 91385LS will work from other sources. This not your answer, it is just data that might help you to figure things out. An IBK distributor is a dual point 12V distributor I think that an IBP distributor is a single point distributor I think that a IBJ distributor is a single point distributor but I do NOT know what the difference is between a IBP and a IBJ. I took it to Philbin Manufacturing in Portland OR (503-287-1718) and they modified an available kit to fit. That was in 2014 and it is still working great, as far as I know. You might try them.
