The Schott panels are vintage aftermarket that were designed to slip over rusted out metal. So they were made oversize.

In the case of a rocker, you may be able to trim the Schott panel a bit to make it work if you are butt welding or creating a flange to slip underneath.

the schotts fit perfect, the corners are an exact fit, even the length came out perfect, the angle is also a direct fit. , no flange needed and i butt welded the lower front quarter by the door. Its like a nos part.
