Might be real. Might not be. Body Code 2142 is for a 8 cylinder Coronet Club Coupe but not a D500. Last car we saw with a 2142 purporting to be a Super D500 car was shown to be a fake.

This one might be real. The engine number looks right and the D500 badge is suitably aged but without providence in the form of the IBM card (image) from FCA Historical, I will remain skeptical.

Yes you are right Dave
Bad to see, but besides code M5=1, the code M3=1 is present (above the last letter “L” in the “MODEL” word)
Does it mean D500?
