Location: Idaho - where men are men and spuds are spuds | This seller is a complete dork! I put those taillights on my watch list just to see what happens with them - my guess is probably nothing. But within minutes he sent me a "discount" offer of $1699, supposedly to others also. - - - - - Oh wait, maybe I totally missed the point. If they're that valuable, maybe I should "shroud" the ones on my Desoto with rebar or indestructable materials to protect them from theft/vandalism. |

I can see us driving down the road with a cage around the taillights. I agree with your assessment of the seller.
Its only matter of time before someone does quality repops of them. Until then, I'm doing a little bit of stocking up on a few good spares - just in case. |

| Just think if everyone was setting prices like them, oh wait they almost do. I saw a back up lens for my '60 Fury at the low low price of $400.00. I have a left NOS lens for a '60 Fury station wagon and I'll admit I put the asking price of $150.00, that's the asking price. Kinda makes me wonder what the fender emblems from my '60 Fury would be "worth". I mean they were taken off back in the very early '60's I reckon due to racing, so they might not fly off, no idea for sure. But they have been wrapped in rag sitting on the glove box since them. Glove isn't in but still in rag in glove box. The golden commando emblem, the gold Fury emblems and 1 other. But no they are not for sale. |

If you need the chevrons, Vans sells them for $50 set of 6. |
