I am Jerry Whitfield in Winston Salem, N.C. Here is my recently finished 56 wagon. I added PS, PB, and A/C. The factory color is called seafoam green. It came from California to me without an engine, so I had a 318 A" (1958) rebuilt and installed. This is the 3rd 56 plymouth I have owned. The others were a 2 door sedan and a 4 door sedan. Feel free to contact me.

Hi Jerry, just look at the paint between the windows - like or not like? -> a small change! . . . and here two other small changes for attentive observers - found? - SERGE -

you really fooled me because I could not figure out how the color change occurred between windows. :) I never thought about photoshop.
Also, no, I have not observed the other two small changes. Would you like to point them out to me?
thanks

Location: SWITZERLAND | Yes Jerry. Dave did well to superpose the two pictures. It's not Photoshop, this is just a tool. As I said, it needs attentive observation. 1. The paint between the windows. 2. The left bumper hanging. 3. The Side Trim Moulding end of rear door, not in-line. For Mopar at the time, this was perfect!

| Beautiful wagon ! I have a 56' Savoy 2 dr in this color combo, and also a 55' Plaza 2dr wagon under restoration. Bought the Savoy all done,so it really looks great, but it has the flathead six,so a v-8 would be nice, but we'll see..see you have a new dual master cylinder, and power booster..have you converted to disc's up front ? And the power steering, stock or something else ?
Thanks |

Congratulations on owning 2 handsine cars !
Brakes are standard drum brakes and do a fine job. I bought it with no engine and had a 1958 318A" installed, also a/c installed. Car did not have power steering. I dont rermember what it came off of.

| Ok Jerry, thanks for the answers, ready for a couple more questions ? hehe, well, just wonder if you still have the original headliner installed ? The interior colors are so different from my Savoy, which is all green.Dark, medium and light..just think it's too much of it,but it is how it left the factory,so I will leave it untouched. But if I were to paint the 55' Suburban in Seafoam green, your interior colors would be a much nicer choice..is your interior original ?
Thanks,
Geir |

Is that LA-built car?
Can you show the cowl tag?
Thanks.
