I had suggested the car at the time to an interested buyer looking for a '56 DeSoto convertible. He physically looked at the car and passed because certain things did not meet his standards regarding the build quality. He wound up with a '58 Pontiac Bonneville convertible as I recall. It looks very good to me from what I can see in the pictures but obviously there was enough to turn him off when viewed in person.
