I have a 1956 Chrysler Windsor that someone put a 56 DeSoto 330 hemi in it. My fuel pump started to leak, the pump that's on it is a Carter m2504s which seemed to work but is not what the hemi spected out. I was wondering if anyone has used this pump before I can rebuild this one I found a kit I just don't want to rebuild it if it's not the right one. I also found out that 56 had two different pumps offered. Any advise would be helpful thanks
I think that the Desoto 330 wanted an OE fuel pump that had a part number of 1637 366 (or 1637366) when using Google. A later PN was 1843 267 (or 1843267 for Google).
I found a 1637 366 that looks quite different than the M2504 but it might have the same lever length.

Thanks sorry for the confusion. Do you by chance no how I can figure out what pump should be in the motor. It definitely is not the right pump in there now.

No confusion on my part. As per the Parts catalog listing, the OE pump was either 1637 366 (or 1637366) when using Google or the later PN was 1843 267 (1843267 when Googling). 1843 267 was later superceded to 2279 910 (or 2279910)
I have provided you with links to current sales for these pumps.
