Thanks guys,

I’ll post more pictures after I get the detailing done that I want to finish. Then I’ll probably post on Members Rides.

Random story for you, Fred: when I was in high school in the now-distant 1980's, there was a fella a few blocks away who had two or three '59 De Sotos out in front of his house.  Once they get you, they really get you!

Gosh Mike, to put it in perspective, I was in high school when the Forward Looks were introduced. So these cars were new then and Dad was a DeSoto-Plymouth dealer. My dream car has always been the 1960 Fireflite 2HT. After my stroke I sold my other '59 thinking my days were numbered regarding "fun" cars but fortunately recovered enough to want to enjoy another DeSoto. I was hell bent on getting a '60 but couldn't find the suitable combination. This '59 was available and I couldn't pass it up so I guess it was just meant to be. In fact I have two toys but one is my everyday driver. It's a 2011 Challenger converted to a 1971 Plymouth 'cuda convertible - one like I had when they were new - color and all.
