Whatever you do, don't bring the tailpipes out the rear like below, have them exit under the outboard ends of the bumper like the factory did in the bottom pic.

That was the plan. Because the rear window can be lowered and driven like that, if the exhaust isn’t run off to the side, fumes would get sucked into the car. That’s why we were looking for a factory exhaust set up.
