Photos must be <250kB, e.g. 1024 x 768 pixels works well.

.jpegs from an iPhone or iPad resized to < 250 kB will load to this site but they will not display without a left click and then opening with some picture viewing program that the clicker has.

.jpgs < 250 kB will load to the site and automatically display at the end of your post.
