| Hello Gentlemen! Looking for a pair of stainless steel trim pieces that mount diagonally on the rocker panels of a 56 Plymouth with Belvedere style side trim.

Item 51 in the collision parts diagram below. PNs 1579 372 and 373 (or 1579372 and 1579373 when searching with Google). I can't get Jim Carpenter's site to work but this is him (in Peachland) on eBay with a 1579373 (left side) (BUT because there is no photo, it is very like that it is actually a Ron Whiting part):

Location: So. Cal | They show up on Ebay every now and then. I need a set for my new convertible too, but I'm just going to make them from a spare piece of door trim. They are pretty simple. A few cuts with a die grinder to bend the mounting tab, and you'll have it done. |
