Hi folks.
I want to replace my rear u-joint cross.
My OE u-joint has a small 'nose' on the retainer that rests on the mount to hold the u-joint in place. Please look at the picture.
All aftermarket u-joints do not have this 'nose' on the retainer.
Does this still work?

You don't need that tab on there. The new joints use a snap ring that seats it in place.

It's just a cheaper method to accomplish the same thing.
