Back in '10 I put '77 NYer disc spindles on my '60 Plym w/o any problems. At the time I ordered the '77 ball joints. Went in for an alignment & they said the lower ball joints were bad. Took it to a place that does that sort of work on older cars. Seems that the ones that came in are the right parts for a '77 NYer but won't fit. The '60 B/Js seem to have a smaller section that goes in the A-Arm but is too small to fit the spindle, the '77 B/J fits the spindle but is too large to fit the A-Arm. Don't know if the guys back in '10 had the same problem & solved it w/o telling me or what. Of course the guy now tossed the ols B/js before thios cropped up so no way of checking what was installed. Anyone out there have an old catalog that might show a B/j with the smaller bottom & larger stud? What joint is used when using the Volarie/Aspen spindles?

I'm not sure, but it might be a '60 Chrysler ball joint. At least that would be a good guess.
You can also go on to Rock Auto and compare the different specs between the parts using the "INFO" buttons.
Delphi parts give out detailed specs on their parts, so click on those.
