Location: Murray Bridge, South Australia | Hi all I am after the oil pump shaft gear for the 58 Desoto 361, I pulled down the motor for rebuild and dropped it on the concrete floor breaking 2 teeth. The parts book number is 1739604 it says that I will also need a bushing 1737725 can anyone help doesn't matter if its used. | |

Just checked the 1959 and 1962 Mopar parts catalogues and that 1739 604 gear and 1737 725 bushing were still being used all the way to the 62 383s. Since by that time, the engines were corporate, not just by division, you might be able to find new old stock ones, like this one (probably sitting with my NOS parts guy):
