These clips have been discussed before in a thread about a 57 New Yorker (with a 392 hemi). I was and still am looking for a set of clips.
The clips are used to control the spark plug wires under wire cover before the cover is placed over the wires.
There are 6 clips in a set for cylinders 3,4,5,6,7 and 8, i.e. at 7 and 8 the clips control 4 wires, at 5 and 6 three wires and at 3 and 4 two wires. Once past 3 and 4, there is just one spark plug wire heading to 1 and 2.
The clip:

PN listing for the clips (I just did a search at all my known NOS suppliers on 1483579 and came up dry):

Location: Peoples Republic of Oregon | I looked into making some of these many years ago but no demand equals dead inventory. I had talked with the owner of a sheetmetal shop and he thought it would be easy enough to make them out of a spring steel material. The usual problem was either make a few at $$$ or make hundreds at $.
Not sure of the market today as many of the hot-rod crowd don't run the covers. |

Location: Finland | I would make them of 0,5mm stainless. The spring tension is enough , they just stay there and not rattle.
I made 2 pc just for fun from a scrap piece and that took 10 minutes...anybody can...

Ralf: Did you create that rolled edge or did your starting "scrap" piece already have that ?

Del S just emailed me with
"I had one of these when I was building airplanes but someone liked it more than I did. (they got stolen)
I would have added to your thread but I do not have my laptop here.
Or... maybe you could ???? "
Sure Del. No problemo.

Location: Finland | Dave ,I started with a flat sheet. The edge I formed in my terrible wise(a shame)....just a number of gentle taps with a hammer needed. I used a 30x30x3 flat bar piece
to get a clean edge to hammer against.
That`s a smart tool with bead rollers...
