Easy to price it, but not so easy to sell it. It is obviously in magnificent condition and even without
going into wether its a genuine D500 or not, it is worth big money.
Being that its worth the "Big Money" look up the big money 60 plymouth fury convertables and the like
for idea of condition and price. They have been for sale for years.
So, 2 ways to sell it, either base it off those cars and lower the price to actually get a buyer or put it across the auction block and see
if you land a big fish.
I believe (going by the description and the photos I have seen so far) that the car is going to be out of the price range of the average person.
I do not believe that the seller has no idea on price, because if that was the case, someone could buy it for $10 or $20K And if
$10K gets it, let me know and I will do what I can to get the money to the seller

Location: Yorba Linda, Ca | I don't recall if Aivar told me whether it was a "real" D500 or not.
Of course it's not now as it has a 440 engine in it with the ram induction.
I probably should swap that engine with the 413 in my 64 Dodge but alas I'm too old to do so.
The engine was built by Petty Bros as a "Street engine" and it runs very nice on 91 octane.
It was his pride and joy.
When the wife & I were invited to see his collection He was hand painting (touching up) the numbers on the speedo.
Thanks for your comments.
I still have the 58 Chrysler New Yorker convertible that he sold me back in 2013.! |

Location: Yorba Linda, Ca | According to Hagerty, the car is worth between $45,000 - $65,000.
to me , that seems low.
The car is in like new condition inside & out.
I've driven it many times and it drives like a new car.'
Stephan, a Swede, who lives part time in Arizona, is coming to look at the cars in a week or two.
He has bought 3 or 4 of aivar's cars.
Anyway I wanted to give you guys 1st shot at the 2 cars.
Thanks for the response!
