Location: northern germany | That looks mighty purdy! Very little glitter, not like OE, but very nice anyway. Not mine.

What do you think about it? Do you know who redid it? The seller had a lot of different wheels. |

This is an NOS 1960 Chrysler steering wheel I bought and it's a bit yellowed but never been on a car. I prefer my redone wheels with the new clear.

Location: California | It's very nice. It has been cast as one piece and the center is painted. You have to look hard to tell. I'm happy with it. Done by a steering wheel outfit in California. |

I wonder if it came from this place - https://www.kochssteeringwheels.com/steering-wheels/ |

Location: ALABAMA, HEART OF DIXIE | The problem with a NOS aero wheel is that they are 60 + years old and old plastic technolegy. Once put in service they have a limited life span. one good pull on it and they crack. Better off with a qualith recast wheel such as D&D in North Carolina offers. |

Location: Finland | The yellowing of all clear casting materials is not easy to get around..
They crack the first time you have to remove the steering wheel if they haven`t already done it. |

Location: northern germany | If you remove the steering wheel the correct way, there is absolutely no stress for the clear section, or the whole steering wheel. |

Location: Lubbock, TX | I'm having Steering Wheel Kris do a 1960 300F wheel for me, he's a little more affordable and faster than Quality Restorations, but they also have always done great work in the past. I've seen NOS wheels yellow in a matter of months of installing on a car and exposing to the sun. It's a combination of age/decay on the plastics and then the added heat and UV rays when being driven or parked.
