Location: Los Angeles, California | Someone in a prior post mentioned the larger 1960 Dodge Matador shared the same manual transmission as the 1960 Desoto. I've never seen images of either Dodge or Desoto with this option, I know that Chrysler offered a floor shift (I assume the same one) in their 1961-1964 models. Lesser dodges had a 3 speed on the column. Did the 1961 Desoto also offer a manual transmission? Anyone have pictures of a 1960 Desoto with a manual? Even the service manual for the car has almost no info on the manual transmission.
