Should there be others interested in replacing their PowerFlite Transmission with a TorqueFlite, here is a bit of info for consideration before you start. 56D500boy (Dave) has an extensive thread on the subject of his experiences when swapping out his PowerFlite in his 56 D500 that you could also refer to. The attached sketch is only a length difference in the two transmissions. The Transmission (A466) I am about to use is from a 1959 Chrysler Town & Country. This requires the rear transmission mount to be relocated by the same amount as the length difference in transmissions. In this case, by 3-1/2" rearward. There is also a sketch of the bracket that welds to the frame for the Crossmember to bolt into. the Shift Cable and Push Button mechanism also changes. Dave have covered this process in his thread. As I proceed, slowly, I will add to this thread.

Dave. I cannot show the bolt holes as the frame is a bit wider at the new mount location. I will add these dimensions once I get a bit further along with the project.

Del: This when I envy you and your four post lift. I can only work under the car with one side jacked up at a time and lying on the garage floor. This makes checking dimensions,
like the distance between frame rails and whether or not they are parallel at that point, difficult.
That said, apparently I have attempted to figure things out previously:

I was out playing in the garage (painting my 56 Dodge's driver's side rocker panel) and while I had the car jacked up a bit (on the frame) (to give a better angle for painting), I got under the car (between paint coats) and got more serious about figuring out new cross-member brackets for my cast-iron Torqueflite installation project. As a result, I made some measurements of the frame just to the rear of the existing Powerflite cross-member (the new cross member will be about 3.5" to the rear of the existing one). I can confirm that the width of the frame at that point is pretty much 49 11/16" as advertised. The width of the box section of the frame at that point is about 5.5" so the space between the inner rails is about 38 11/16". The Powerflite cross-member is 37 1/4" long/wide (depending on your point of view)
