Mopar car show, swap meet & car corral open to all Chrysler products (Dodge, Imperial, Plymouth, Chrysler, Desoto, AMC, Rambler, Nash, Jeep, Ram truck) swap spaces limited to Mopar parts
and general automotive related vendors. Come look at the Mopar cars & trucks and also bring your parts list. It's a great place to locate that hard to find Mopar part or literature.

We will have judged classes for all MOPARs with swap meet spaces parts vendors food and door prizes. Show will take place from 10am to 3:00 pm, with participant registration from 9:30 am to 12 pm.
Entry fee is $30 day of show. The show is free to spectators.

This is an annual event with between 125 and 150 MoPars. As far as Forward Look cars are concerned you can count them on one hand. Last year my '59 DeSoto was the only one there. My '62 Plymouth Super Stock 413 will be a better fit for the younger generation muscle car fans but I'll bring my DeSoto too. Fortunately there are at least 10 different classes and trophies for first three places in each class plus best of show, etc. Lotsa trophies so it's pretty easy to get one with older cars. The 354 Hemi turns over and runs although there is a thumping sound that I need to investigate, will probably pull it and have it overhauled.
Need to rewire it as the original wiring is in bad shape. Need to have the interior reupholstered.
The fella who had it before me did bodywork on the car and repainted it a different color.

Needless to say, I have done a lot of work on it but have a lot more to do. I have found a lot of vendors who have helped me with parts to fix up the car, but I having issues finding parts like radiators and heater cores. I'd like to restore it to as close to original as possible. Also I would like to find an engine shop in the midwest that is competent in rebuilding the gen 1 hemi's.

If you have any suggestions on OEM\refurb\or replication part suppliers to reach out to that would be great. I have repaired the gas tank but would like to find one in better condition that the one I have the radiator hold fluid and pressure but has a lot of stop leak in it. I can recore it but if I can find a reproduction or one that has already been recored all the better.

I'm just curious. We bought it from a guy named East in Bridgeport, OK circa 2006 and she traded it back to him about four years ago. It was a slant six car with just a tad over 100k on the clock when it left. I think a few folks probably saw it on OKC Craigslist. It left her posession not running. I was convinced the issue was a ballast resistor but a "mechanic" told her otherwise. I heard later that the fella who sold it to us and got it back had issues getting it running as well. He got the car back legit and legal.
