Hey there >Fowrward>Lookers. I'm pretty sure a lot of you are familiar with http://www.imperialclub.com/index.htm

Anyway, thanks to that website I have downloaded all the 1597 and 1958 reference books and converted them to PDFs. I have uploaded the 57 PDFs here http://www.megaupload.com/?d=ZXRG7OCY for whoever wants to download them. It's free to download, so time is all that it will cost you! Just wait for the 44 second countdown and the file will be ready for regular download. Btw the file might be listed as an .exe file. Do not be discouraged as exe files tend to have a bad rap due to viruses and what not. This is a clean file. The reason for that is because I compressed the PDFs into a file that will self-extract to your computer (for those that don't have extracting software such as winzip or winrar). Anyway enjoy some great FL Knowledge!

Thanks again FinFury57!!

No problem. Eventually, I'm going to acquire all the books since 1947 and I am currently in the process of PDF'ing the 58 books, and so forth... A great deal of information worth having. I'll have like my own little C.D.L. Chrysler Digital Library lol.

I don't know, .exe files and having to read a commercial for 40 seconds and choose between premium (costs you money) and standard downloads raises too many red flags for me. I'll pass.

I absolutely understand the reason for your decision. I have downloaded files from this website before and have had no problems thus far. It all depends on who is doing the uploading to the megaupload server, and not everyone uploads for good intentions. Yes, they would prefer you to pay for an account, but that is why they put that 44 second hold on a free download. It's like a marketing tool for people who want the fastest download, but it is downloadable for free non the less. Btw the PDFs are not exe files. Only the extractor. Good example here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0-Q7rK7qRo4 The music is a bit annoying, but it is very well explained. Let me make note that my files are clean, and as long as you have a good antivirus program it will let you know if it is otherwise.

Here's a little bit more info on megaupload: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20070716182914AAxUWyd

Sure, no problem. Glad it helped. Downloading, converting them to PDF, and uploading them was pretty easy and timeless for me anyway, so I figured I'd share them. After all that's what we're all here for, sharing knowledge and ideas.

Okay. To those of you who have had a success in downloading the PDF files, awesome glad to hear that. To those who have had trouble due to an anti-virus program not permitting the download, or to those who do not feel safe with exe files, not to worry. I have re-uploaded the 1957 Books as a PDF Portfolio. Well, it pretty much speaks for itself lol. It's like a portfolio with all the PDFs organized inside it and you could choose which PDF to view. 1957 and 1958 Books:

I have re-uploaded the 1958 Books, since the original link has been not working. Disregard the original link.

Sure, no problem. Glad it helped. Although the imperial club website didn't digitize some of the 1690 books as high resolution as they normally do. I did a print test on some of the pages of both the high and low resolution. Of course the higher resolution pages looked clearer vs a bit blurry on the other. I will be doing another re-print test when I refill my ink cartridge since it's pretty low on ink. I'm sure that will help big time.

Cool. Just a heads up for everyone visiting this thread and wanting to download the files. I will be re-uploading all the reference books PDFs 1955-1961 with the books I left out included. Eventually I will be posting new links for them all in a new thread. And yes it's me "take me back" lol. I had to re-register because it turns out I wanted to change my username.. Oh well.. From here on out I will be using this account. Anyway, until the new PDFs are up, happy downloading!!

Yeah, some anti-virus programs are really technical when it comes to downloading files, and Norton falls into that category.
Is this the file that it placed a high risk value on? - http://www.megaupload.com/?d=ZXRG7OCY

Hi all. Here is the new and working link to the reference books 1955-1961. No extractor needed. A direct download to any PDF you want.
Right click, choose Download, and click Standard Download to download the PDF.

If you want to read all the MTSC booklets, or watch every filmstrip/record online, the MyMopar website is a great source. the 'browse by model year' link works. They are still getting the 'browse by topic' link to work. This is my 'go to' site for tech info not usually found in the owner's manuals.
