Anyone of us who were fortunate enough to see the car, in its unearthered condition!

This screed may be necessarily directed to the true-believers, but, I gotta say, BEFORE the
abomination may occur to Ms. Belvie, that there is a REASON why wrapped Xmas presents,
strip-teasers, and unearthed relics are so appealing to the public : MYSTERY, and ANTICIPATION,
and IMAGINATION!!!

Stripping the car of her nasty Cosmoline and corrosion and residual paintwork/finishing
will render her as being merely naked and exposed; like any other reclaimed wrecking yard
project.

The Public will not become compelled to pay money, to see some naked Swiss-Cheese-mobile,
displayed somewhere.

They WILL pay money to go see some unique artifact, which actually has considerable "human"
interest-story-value, and is, in fact, quite beautiful in its deteriorated condition.

A car is original only once; this car WAS original, when it was put into the ground.

It IS still in orginal condition, as-unearthed.

Stripping-off ALL of its clothing will NOT make it more interesting; it will ONLY serve the financial
interests of the company REMOVING her clothing.

Raquel Welch & Sofia Loren, and others, never posed in the buff.

"WE" will always have Tulsa, no matter WHAT the fate of the car may be.

But, you know somethin?

I just realized that I am being VERY unappreciative of Ultra One!!! I apologize!

They just SAVED me $2,000.00- $3,000.00 from having to go to Branson, or wherever, to revisit the car, after it finally arrives at its
permanent home!

Dammm, I'm an ingrate! Sorry.

And, I will be CERTAIN to buy whatever Ultra One product comes down-the-line, to reward them for having saved me so
much money!

I really don't care what they do with it, it will be their loss of monies not mine. After all it is their car, who am I or anyone else to tell them what they can or can't do to it. I'm sorry I don't share the same sentimental state of mind as many here. I strip and crush many originals every year and have yet to hear anyone complain that the mldg was to perfect and that I shouldn't have taken it from the car it was on to sell it to them.. Would be a double standard wouldn't it?

As far as Ultra One's product, if it works, saves time or money in the shop, I am going to use it..

I was told that their product is legit. It really does work like in their pics. It will take a lot for that car though. I want them to go for it and let's see what is left. If the car is going to be left in and out of the sun and air, maybe this is best. To take take all the rust off and see what is left. It can't be any worse than what has been done to the car already(by Brain and Manning)

Larry: you just re-stated my argument, but from the other side of the table; with the car in as-unearthed condition
on display, a logical discussion/debate would occur, regarding "what-lies-beneath" the crud, and maybe, what should
be done, or should-have-been-done with it.

Once the car is stripped to bare metal (dunno what they think that they're gonna do, with the interior) the illusion
and the interest will disappear--which will probably make those people who did not see the car, in Tulsa be 'happy'
as they have no emotional attachment , or fond memories associated with the car, and what it represents, as being
a unique artifact to a specific event.

Yeah Lawrence, you were there I thought. So I guess the event wasn't memorable for you? I dont think I had the pleasure of meeting you. Maybe I did just not sure met so many people. Maybe cleaning half of her so to make a before and after picture. Just my thoughts.

I wouldn't mind seing HALF the car get cleaned, but I wouldn't want that "cleaning" to go all the way to BARE metal---which
is what I think that Ultra-Yuck does so.

MmmmBOY; bare-metal parts (which WILL develop surface rust, if not further-treated!) ain't never seen a car stripped
to bare-metal, before!

I guess I'm really stating that I'm glad they found the owners so fast..so that Tulsa wouldn't keep parading the car around. I think since the car has not seen sunlight or dryness in so many years, the rust needs to be stopped(or rust awayed). Some hot shot restorer will take it on if starts falling apart after rust away(I'll bet a lot of s**t has fallen off the car since we saw it, I also watched s**t falling from the car on dislpay). It won't be the same car, but maybe it is better than looking at the car in a solid plastic block(like one of those spiders).
