Welp, if you notice, the questions are VERY scientifically chosen, to weed-out virtually everyone, because hardly-NO-body
has a full range of current-social knowledge (hip-hoppist stuff) as well as ancient Greek mythology, and geography. and
medical history ("who is the Father of Modern Science?") and art history, AND who might be old enough to REMEMBER the TV show
"Laugh In"? (which president appeared on it?) , and movie-trivia?

It's not real difficult to position certain types of questions, so as to eliminate almost any contestant.

You notice that I'm avoiding answering your question......

Neil, don't confuse Bob Stoops with Mike Gundy. Stoops appears to know when to keep his mouth shut. Gundy does not appear to put his brain in gear before he put his mouth in motion. Then he has to back up backpeddlin all the way. You should see the furball that Gundy and the newspaper columnist has caused. The whole thing is a tempest in a tea pot, but neither one will shut up aand let the dog die. They just keep kicking it. Also Jim Garner's bother, now dead I think, was a urologist in OKLAHOMA CITY, whom I can personaly testifiy, did unspeakable thing to people with some very sharp tools. Ouch. I hurts to remember. Having attended OKLAHOMA UNIVERSITY at Norman, OK, I claim it as my school. Ol' whatsername could not decide and also went to the OTHER school, (the one where big mouth coaches) at Stillwater, ok. Watch what the SOONERS do this weekend. GO SOONERS!!!!!!!!!

THE university of oklahoma (O.U.): norman, ok coach: bob stoops nickname: sooners

oklahoma state university (osu): stillwater, ok coach: mike gundy nickname: cowboys

tulsa university (tu): tulsa, ok coach: todd graham (was steve kragthorpe, very successful & moved on) nickname: golden hurricane

university of texas (ut): austin, tx coach: mack brown nickname: longhorn a*s*s*h*o*l*e*s

university of central oklahoma (uco): edmond, ok NCAA division II. coach: chuck langston (my alma mater) nickname: bronchos ('chos, for short)

stroud high school (shs): stroud, ok coach: rick elerick nickname: tigers

osu's coach, mike gundy, has a brother cale gundy, who quarterbacked for the sooners and is an assistant coach for the sooners. tu's quarterback, paul smith, wanted badly to go to ou but was not offerred a scholarship, and is presently doing an outstanding job at quarterback in a second tier program. mack brown and his brother, watson, have ou coaching ties. uco's chuck langston also came from the ou coaching staff.

texas tech's head coach, mike leach, was offensive coordinator at ou under bob stoops in 1999. kansas university's head coach, mark mangino, followed mike leach as offensive coordinator at ou. mike stoops, brother of bob, was co-defensive coordinator for the sooners and is head coach (for now) at arizona state. stroud high school sent graduate grant burget to play for the sooners, who enjoyed success at both schools.
