That's a great looking car! I'm not a big fan of the back end on the '59's, but the wagon eliminates that problem, creating a really good looking car.

It seems the red '59 Fireflite Explorer equipped with optional Adventurer-powered V8 383CID 2/4BBL 350HP engine (order code 374)...
The nameplate on the front fender tells it... (below Fireflite)
$107.70 at extra for Fireflite Series...
Could you post a data plate image, please to confirm that?

Is the black & gold '59 Adventurer one of Alan Ralston's former cars? If so it originally came from Binghamton NY and I found it for him back in the '80s.

Firedome: No, Doug West had Alan's convertible as well, but sold that a couple years ago, prior to his passing. I am not sure where that car is today.
