I bought Mel's 59 Dodge. The car is really cool and has a lot of character, love the patina. It runs and drives great.

Gonna be freshing up the car a bit, I just painted the trunk and rear quarters to match the rest of the car, was previously flat grayish on the rear clip.

The color match on rear quarters and trunk came out pretty good, I'm happy.

Your car looks really cool with the rear lamps turned downward. Not original, but exclusive - I like it.

Once I will make a try as well.  - SERGE -  ;)

Initially I didn't like what Mel had done to the taillights but now that I have seen it again and again, I am starting to appreciate the symmetry of the angle of the taillights, the fins and the exhaust tips.

all I've done so far is repainted the rear quarters, trunk and driver door the match the rest of the car. I've removed the lake pipes and a pillar peep mirrors and put the mirrors back on the fenders and lowered the front end down by adjusting the torsion bars. I'll be lowering the rear a bit soon and re upholster the seats and rock it like that for now. Everything else cool the way it is.

really love this car!

With small effort you can visually improve the aspect of your nice car: Align the side trims to be straight and remove the color spots.

Here done on PhotoShop.  - SERGE -
