Alot of these cars are past there prime but there are still some good parts.
The owner said there are about 4000 cars in this yard from 1930's to 1990's mainly 50's & 60's
I still have more pictures

Thanks. The rear bumper is missing, off the one. The other looks to be a el-cheapo model, and would not have the stone shields or the rear bumper guard.

In yer yard travels, if you run across any '61's with a pr of shields and a rear bumper guard, gimmie a holler. I'll send you a bottle of WV 'firewater'

I checked through the pics that I have and I don't have any other pics of the Desoto or Plymouth.
I live about 50 miles away .
I plan on going back in the spring I can take more pics then.

The name of the yard is Hillyards(spelling??). The guy is a little hard to deal with. His son is the person who takes the parts of the cars for people who are buying the parts. Try to have the son there when the old man tells you a price on what you are interested in. I bought a couple parts from him last Fall when I was there visiting my Dad, and after we agreed on a price we all went to look at the parts together that I was interested in and he tried to charge me more. The son is much easier to get along with than the old man but unfortunately he does not set the prices. Thanks, Bill

Do you remember what kind of Plymouth was the '57? It is before the Belvedere, and it is a interior shot.

This place is awesome. We don't have many salvage yards around here anymore... most never have whole cars anymore, and it's usually just late model stuff.

Always was hard to buy from very expensive ,Still not many chances to get any parts for our cars especially in Michigan ,if he does get in touch with you let us know, I wouldn't mind going thru the yard again one last time before it is all sent to China .If I remember correctly he has about 5000 cars in the yard total.
