Account Suspended Posts: 2827 Location: At "The Rock" in upper East Tennessee | If you could have any two Forward Look cars describe what they would be. Mine would be a '58 Plymouth 'vert. Black, no sport tone, no wings, no fender spears, no hood emblem, shaved doors and trunk, just simple black with only the body lines to show it off. Stock looking interior with Chrysler swing out buckets all in black. Suspension would be a Mustang II type front with a 3 link/panard bar rear. As low as she can go with some big wheels and very low prof tires. Powered by a 6.1 Hemi and 6 speed manual. My second one would be a bone stock '60 Fury 2DHT in black and white. Location: Parts Unknown | Really fun question. My DeSoto is largely my dream car of all finned cars, Forward Look or other makes. If I could tweak it a little, I wish it was originally painted lavender and charcoal and Virgil had assigned the 57 sidetrim to the 58 cars and Mopar had offered a good floor shift manual transmission in those years. Other than those few details, this is the best post war car ever made for my tastes and interests. I hunted long and hard to find this car and it is my dream car. I have really enjoyed some of Danny's photoshop work and that 57 Adventurer sedan delivery wagon was just awesome. A 57-58 wagon with sedan fins could be right up there. As it is, our 56 Dodge is a pretty decent wagon as built. I like a lot of FL cars. 56 Dodge, 58 Plymouth, 58 Dodge, 57-58 Chrysler and DeSoto. Hard to beat any of them. A seafoam green monotone el strippo 58 Plaza sedan would be pretty awesome.

Elite Veteran Posts: 1107 Location: Arvada, Colorado (NW Denver Metro Area) | Mine would be also be a 1960 Chrysler 300F (413 Long ram) in Viper Red and a 56 La Femme (Hemi Convertible with matching umbrella, compact and luggage, of course) for the wife. The Le Femme is to keep her from driving the 300F!!! If the wife is not in the picture then a 58 300D Convert

Expert Posts: 1352 Location: Springville, CA | I want a white '56 300B with all the lettering, and 300 emblems removed and a Dodge 518 tranny installed. And that's exactly what I'm building now. My second car would be a '59 Plymouth 2door hardtop.

Expert Posts: 3155 Location: NY & VT | A '57/8 DeSoto 4 dr hardtop, any series, and a 57 Chrysler 4 dr hardtop Saratoga or NYer. One in lavender or peach, and one in turquoise. Real 50s colors. I've already got the DeSoto, and though some health and storage issues have raised their ugly head, am trying hard to sell our 70 MG first so I can keep it! Agree with Brent on that 57 DeS side trim, but 58 ain't bad either! And I also like the 58 green (or blue) stripper sedan idea, like the one in the brochure! Expert Posts: 3967 Location: DFW, TX | I've already got my #1 - '57 New Yorker coupe. I don't care for the 300 front end treatements and I like the colored sweep of the 'lesser' car. My #2 is probably controversial - '61 DeSoto coupe. I just like them.

Extreme Veteran Posts: 313 Location: New Jersey | Easy-----1-1957 Dodge Coronet D501 convertible, triple black, 3-spd (I'd have to add an o/d unit), with the dog dish hubcaps and exhaust extensions; 2-1955 Chrysler C-300, pure white, slightly oversized blackwall Michelins----did they come in stick?; 3-1956 Dodge Coronet D500-1 convertible, triple black, 3-spd o/d, with the poverty caps. I have a D500 convertible automatic now. Hey Donnie, could you build me a 6.1 or 5.7 with a non-electric o/d--and keep the pushbuttons intact?----Fred and son

Veteran Posts: 107 Location: Sydney | Oh man, what a tough question ! I think I'll cop out and offer two answers : "Obtainable" - '57 Adventurer Hardtop, Gold on Black; '60 Town & Country. "Unobtainable" - KT Keller's '55 'Imperial' Convertible, '60 300F Special.

Elite Veteran Posts: 708 Location: Fredrikstad, Norway. (Europe) | I want my ex '69 Charger R/T 440 MAGNUM Fully equiped, including power sunroof (pictured) back. And the "Plodge" (pictured) mentioned before. One of my 2 '80 Miradas, fully equiped including power sunroof and 360 cid HP (pictured) is also a good enough dreamcar for me.
