Anybody ever heard of Valley Vintage Auto Parts? They are in Ohio. I found them on the net doing a search for the backup lenses for my 64 Polara. I have orders from "The Boss" to get new ones.

Thanks!

Yes. They have been regulars at Chryslers@Carlisle for many years and have advertised in Hemmings forever. Al is a good guy. I've bought many parts from him and have been 100% satisfied.

Hi: Has anyone purchased a '58 Plymouth repro black rubber trunk mat from VVAP? Last time I heard Al was not pleased that his supplier went sky high on the price. Does anyone know of a current source?

Thanks, Jerry.

Do they even still sell these, at any price? I can't see it in their catalog.

I have known Al for many years. Yes, he is a good guy and has always done me right. I have sold him many NOS bulk parts and he has never dickered on price. I am surprised that he has started selling reproduction parts but you gotta keep the doors open.

We did get the backup tail lenses for the 64 Dodge from VVAP. I called him first to see if the were frosted around the sides, like the originals were. Much to his surprise, they were not, but I went ahead and bought them anyway, great service and price.

Jon, of JMC Performance was then able to paint the (back side of the sides) with paint that doesn't attack plastic. Now they look just like the original backup lites on the car and "Mama is happy"!!!
