Subject: 57-58 Plymouth sportone insert

I have one aluminum insert measures5 3/4" x 43 1/2 ". I can't figure out where it goes, have compared it ti a 2dr hardtop and a 4dr sedan and it isn't the right dimension to fit any of the panels. Any ideas?
