Extreme Veteran Posts: 394 Location: Royal Oak, MI | There's a '57 Plymouth Belvedere two-door hardtop on page 1 of the thumbnails and a '57 Dodge Coronet two-door hardtop on page 3... both look like they're in salvageable condition.

Expert Posts: 3951 Location: Bama | You can call the # and talk to Mack. He will tell you the same thing he has said for years. Everything is tied up in court. Nothing is for sale. I have been there too. 30 minutes from my house.

Walter passed away on Jul 29, 2014. We will miss you, Walt! Posts: 5358 Location: Heaven Above (Formerly Oklahoma City,OK) | If it's tied up in a probate court, someone may need to either kick a lawyer in the butt, or hire a good one. Any probate court can order that the business continue to operate and that the proceeds of the operation be deposited with the court, or disbursed as the court may orderl , less the operating expenses of the business.. To simply allow property that is subject to biodegredation (i.e.Rust) could be considered "wasting" the assets of an estate and the administrator of the estate could be liable for losses incurred due to wasting of the assets. Expert Posts: 3951 Location: Bama | This guy supposedly has $ I would think he does too. I have heard that the court thing is about the highway expansion. His house is one one side of the highway and the junkyard on the other. Who knows. Call the # and talk to the man if you are interested. Uncle Walt, I might need a lawyer one day. Do you travel?

Expert Posts: 3951 Location: Bama | I just called Mack. He really wants to sell everything at once. 1000 cars for $1000 a piece. He has been selling some cars recently. He mentioned that a lot of the 56-61 Mopars still have the Hemi motors in them. He just sold a 68 hemi charger for $11,000. Complete but rough. He says that most of his cars are rough. So if you are interested in a particular car, call him. I have never walked through the yard but I know some that say they have. You never know.

Expert Posts: 3951 Location: Bama | I'm 45 miles south west of Lagrange. Sounds like he'll sell individually and let someone in if they are ready to buy something.

Elite Veteran Posts: 774 Location: Atlanta GA USA | Chad, I just now found your post. I live in Atlanta. Oddly, I was looking the yard up on mapquest yesterday, planning for a visit. I may have to wait for warmer weather. I'd like to get some parts if possible. Many good ones. As you know, it's about an hours drive from here. Bill

If I bought one of the cars, I have no idea what to do with it or where to put it. It is a disturbing situation.

Elite Veteran Posts: 774 Location: Atlanta GA USA | I can't justify $1000 for one of the DeSoto's. I suspect a lot of the cars will eventually get crushed Edited by 1956DeS 2010-01-13 7:06 AM
