Started working on my 61 and noticed the trunk rail support ends in the nothing! The 60 has a nice triangular shaped end piece that connects the support with the wheel housing. I wonder did they forget it or if this a Canadian thing? There are suprising differences between Canadian and US-build cars and wonder if that is one of them. ?

Really nobody willing to glance into his/her 61 Plymouth trunk? Shouldn't take longer than a second or 2...

I checked 2 of my 61s and end into nothing. I checked my 62 300 and it ends to the triangle piece

Thanks for the info.
I guess because the 61 Plymouth rear quarters are the most rigid of all unbibody cars they thought the bracing is not needed. However, my 61 is so badly rusted and even after I replaced the trunk floor some parts are just rusted thin, like the frame rails that I wont replace, I will add these pieces. It will look factory.
Actually all parts that have already surface rust and especially those sandblasted, lose their surface tension and a big percentage of their stability.
