Hey guys, Finally got the steering wheel done. I got that restoration kit from Eastwood. It worked out good. They send along instructions. I found it interesting reading, but not much help as it was quite outdated. Eastwood included what was needed to do this. They included 2 different cans of adhesion conditioner spray, depending on the composition of the wheel material. I tried it first on an old wheel. The next day I could scratch the paint off with my fingernail. So I tried the other can and the paint stayed on the wheel. It says to put the paint on immediately after spraying this stuff on while it is still wet. Problem I had was trying to keep the whole wheel wet as it would flash off by the time I got to the starting point. So went for it, and hope for the best. Guess it worked as I can't scratch the paint off. A professional probably could have done a better job, but I'm only into it for about $100, and a week and a half of sanding. I put 3 coats of base coat and 4 coats of clear. Hoping this will hold up. Jerry
