The areo wheel was on the car when it was ordered with power steering. My dad took it out for a little drive and he said the steered really nice and easy.

I am not sure that is why I am going to the Chrysler history to find out if it came with a hifi or no radio. I have the form filled out all I need to do is get a $45.00 Money order and send it out. I am also sure this will also tell me were the car sold when brand new.

In a mail from June;

"I have attached a build card order form. The fee for this service is $45.00, payable in check order to FCA US LLC. If a check is too difficult to get, a cash payment is acceptable. This would need to be mailed with your order. We also require proof of ownership. A photocopy of the title or registration is acceptable and must show your name and the correct VIN. Everything can be mailed to the address listed on the order form.

We are actually shutting down our build record service from July 1st – November 1st. You may want to mail in your order, if you would like it quickly. Anything received after July 1st will be returned at this time. If you have any questions, please let me know.

Danielle Szostak-Viers"

I do have a copy of the registration but I will wait to send it November 1st but send it with a tracking # . Is the system being updated? Does the history tracing of my car also tell me were it sold when it was brand new?

I am just looking back when I got my 2nd '61 fury., the delivery and the arrival. It never hurts to go back and look . I know the car will get done I am not going to let anything get in the way. I hope to have it back on the road by next spring or summer the latest. I still do my monthly start ups and move the car little forward and then back.
My dad is the 1 who introduced me to this car when he got my previous 1 and guess who he volunteered to give the car its 1st bath . Like I said I am just looking back . I will say its really sad not very many survived . I wonder if any one here rescued 1 from an auto grave yard .
I am smiling and looking back . I hope someday at a mopar show I will have my '61 parked next to another '61. It will not matter to me who gets 1st place but if its a tie I will let the owner of the other '61 take the trophy home.

My part is done ,its my dad's turn to fabricate and weld the patch panels on. I will be honest if I had the cash I would take it a restoration shop but by having it done at home I am saving money on the labor. You are more than welcome to help
