Location: Newcastle Australia | The Custom Royal has a stainless moulding across the rear just above the bumper bar.
I've done a great job (if I say so myself) straightening it out and removing the dents and polishing it up.
Now it doesn't fit???? I have spent hours getting those nasty kinks out of the ends of the stainless and now I'm thinking that they just may have been meant to be there.
Has anybody got a photo of this strip handy? Or can somebody confirm the shape please?

I had the same issue and straightened my trim out also, had all new Stainless Clips made and found the same issue you now have,, Indeed i do believe the ends of the trim are supposed to curve,
I just got all the Clips in place and made sure the trim was central and tightened them all up , and let the Trim pull in close to the body, .. The Trim is definitely to long to be fitted straight which leads me to believe it is curved from factory |

I suppose it's not a great distance to be brought in anyway. I just need to protect the paint. |
