Just like the Title says,,,

Does anyone have a Picture ( Already tried Google Images) of the fitment of the Chrome Rocker covers, I need to see exactly the fitment gaps, As unsure if the Chrome finishes Level with Top of Rocker, or Bottom of Rocker, Or possibly with the same distance gap top and bottom.

Seems they are a Rare option, as no PICs about showing a Dodge with them fitted,

Cheers,,

Well, according to the Chrysler Corporation of Canada Ltd parts catalog, the rocker covers are called the "Body Side Sill Moulding". From what I can see in the illustrations, they butt up to the stone guard on the rear, and are flush with the bottom of the rocker face. They show space between the bottom of the door, and the moulding. However, they don't show that moulding on a Dodge; only on the Plymouths, DeSotos, and Chryslers. And each make has their own moulding part number. The DeSoto and Chrysler ones even differentiate between the lower and higher price models. Was that an option on the Dodge?

Thanks Brad for looking into it ..

These Chrome Rockers came with my 59 2drHT Dodge Royal, but it has had all new Rockers fitted , so have no reference, From what i can see and butting them against the rockers, The rear Stone Guards go Over the chrome rockers as there is no finish edge or fixing holes in the chrome rocker at the rear, So the Stone guards grip the rear, i think there are only 5 fixing holes on the whole chrome piece, 2 down low, 2 high and 1 in the middle at the very front for the front fender, there is a finished edge for the front, and these are definitely a genuine product. I guess it makes sense for the Chrome Rocker to fit flush with the lower of the Rocker, or else the coloured rocker paint would show resulting in a thin white line below the cover

The 59 Royal has some unique extras which my 59 Custom Royal didnt, Like....

Speedo Minder
Mirrormatic
Padded Sun Visors
Rocker Chrome Covers
Remote driver Fender Mirror

So i guess a few boxes got ticked when it was ordered New,,

Search youtube for "field find: rare 1959 dodge viscount" and there is a pretty good look at the rocker trim.
