Location: So. Cal | I purchased this NOS tail lamp for my '58 Dodge, but I don't recognize the part that is bolted to the back side of it. But it does fit the size and bolt pattern so it makes me believe that it was at least made to fit this tail lamp bezel. Does anyone recognize it? Maybe for a foreign car application that used the Dodge bezel?

Yeh, probably because the Sweptside used suburban overlay fenders. It's all about the angle.
The sedans (and covertibles) had a vertical taillight base, but the wagons and the Sweptsides were on an angle, hence the extra bezel.

Location: So. Cal | It looks like the upper and lower are different from each other. I'll have to figure out which one I have. I don't see a part number on it, but maybe I will if I remove it from the tail light. |

Location: So. Cal | I was wrong. They are the same part top and bottom when you look up the references.
