I have read here of someone putting a 7" aftermarket P.B. set up on and it didn't work so well and was thinking of going to an 8" set up but I don't recall anything more about it. Did the 8" work?

I don't have a Chrysler and don't know the difference but I see the 8" kits are available for a 60 Chryslers but will not fit a 60 Plymouth. Is it a size issue? Won't it fit under the hood?
They look like they use the same mounting to the firewall. These kits will work on later 60s MOPARs. I am using a MC for a Plymouth Cuda. What is the difference? Is it the rod or?

Can these kits work as is or can they be modified? If this subject has come up before, what would I look for as a subject for an old thread?
